TC1LHW special event station was on the air first time on 20-21 August 2005. The team consisted of TA1FR Leonardo, then
TB1CAK (now TA1HZ) Tevfik Aydin and TB1CAK-Jr Ulug. Two Kenwood TS-50 HF rigs were used with Fritzen FD-4
inverted Vs. An Icom IC-02AT with Kantronics KPC3 TNC provided the APRS.
On August 19-20, 2006, TC1LHW was once again on the air. This time TA2RX Bekir Kemal replaced Ulug on the team. TA1FR
and TA1HZ were the other members. One of the TS-50 was replaced with a Yaesu FT-857. Some VHF-UHF SSB/FM activity was added
with Yaesu FT8800 and 7800 rigs.
